It seems just oh so recent that I was walking down the halls of Flushing High School. Orange and black, I loved those halls. Years later I have had the pleasure of reconnecting with a few old friends and it's nights like last wednesday night that I am thankful for what I do. I had the best time roaming around the country roads of eastern Michigan with Brianna, Dimitri and little Kasen. Baby Kasen is just an adorable little 9 month old who has the best toothy smile.

Brianna, you have a beautiful family and I cannot wait to capture baby Kasen during my next trip to my home state in August!

Baby Bridger is already a little man of 100 faces! He had me cracking up with his tongue out and one eyebrow up. This little tyke is in for one heck of a good life with some of the sweetest parents that I have ever met. 

The Huggins live in the perfect little house with the cutest red barn in the back set off by a white picket fence. Now they have it all, a little man of their own. It was great getting to spend the afternoon with the three of them. Melissa and I spent a lot of it just talking about new mom stuff. It is amazing how you can go on and on for hours about everything from sleep to sleep deprivation, the little smiles, baby wipes and the strollers. I mean I could literally talk about Levi all day long. I think that Bridger will be the topic of conversation for some years to come.

Lately, every time I shoot a new session that type of session is my favorite. Newborn, maternity, weddings, events,  and now today seniors are my favorite! Zack is a goofy guy and he just made my day. All I had to do to get this kid to smile was make fun of myself... and that's pretty easy to do, I must admit. Here a few serious, a few fun and few of him just plain cracking up at my stupidity.

Carla was just a few days away from delivering when I shot these photos last week. The sun was peeking out between the clouds, casting a beautiful soft light on her baby belly. The felids of East Texas were made for her! She had no problem kicking off her flip flops and laying right down in a field of blooming clovers. 

Then a dark cloud came over us and... instant down pour! Ugh, killer for a photo shoot right? Nope just break out the umbrella. 

Congrats on baby Camille, may her life be filled with blessings and love. Oh and I can't wait to get my hands on that little girl soon! 

...and the rain came pouring down!!

Nothing is prettier than a senior girl in a whole field of blossoming clovers. I guess it was our lucky day because the sun seemed to be falling just right. While editing these photos I kept on saying, "WOW!" over and over silently in my head. I just can't get over how blue those eyes are.

Shelby is a rough 'em up, jump in the mud and go hunting with the boys type of girl. She loves t-shirts and jeans, boots and sweat shirts. In my opinion, these types of girls are always the prettiest when they throw on a dress and put some curlers in their hair.

Free spirit is the best way that I would describe my little sister-in-law. She runs life with her heart but has a heck of a smart head on her shoulders. This senior girl is going places and we all couldn't be prouder of her beauty which flows freely from inside out.
