Lilian and Alberto stole my heart from the first time we met... virtually. Alberto contacted me a few weeks after I gave birth to Levi and I picked up the phone while trying to hush a cooing baby in the background. They desperately wanted to meet before they booked me but I was in shape or form to meet with clients. We arranged a Skype meeting and for the first time in a few months I styled my hair, put on a touch of make up and dress shirt.... and pajama pants. (That is why I LOVE Skype, business on top, sleepover on the bottom!) Lilian and Alberto were so sweet and I was thrilled to capture their wedding day!
We met in person this past April to snap a few (hundred) photos of the couple's engagement!! Here is the little bloggy-blog posting in case you missed this duo before. We ran around the park and enjoyed some fresh Houston air. (Okay, I know that Houston may not have the freshest air but it was great to breathe in some city for the first time since I had moved from Vegas 5 months prior.)
I showed up at the Hyatt Regency two weekends ago to find Lilian completely calm, surrounded by a bunch of bubbly bridesmaids. The whole room smelled of fresh flowers and in the corner laid roses and hydrangeas arranged by Whole Foods. The girls were getting ready and Lilian had her make-up applied by the beautiful Lisa Pelayo of LP Make Up and Beauty.
The ceremony was sweet and I have never seen a bigger smile on Alberto's face than when he saw Lilian. I love the groom's faces right as he sees his bride. Expressions range from tears of joy to pure blissful smiles. It's always one of my favorite moments of the day. We all headed over to Cypress Chateau but Lilian and Alberto were able to sneak in a few private moments in a tree garden just outside of the Chateau....
Lilian. Alberto. You both emanate love for each other and the people around you. It was no different on your wedding day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be apart of your special day.
