We look at the things in our homes a hundred times everyday. We pass the grandfather clock every night with sleeping babies in our arms. We reach over the colorful glass jars to get our coffee out of the cupboard every morning. It seems that the older I get, the less I care about how everything looks in my home and more about how it makes me feel. How it brings back memories and love and laughter from people who live so very far away from me. This house in Texas has finally become a home after so many months of tweaking. Here is a little invitation to peek into my world where I kiss my baby goodnight, hug my husband as he walks through that door and stay up late editing photos at a little Ikea desk that make me so very happy.
It's amazing how little owl figurines could put a smile on my face every time I walk past these cool little dudes.
